First-year FFA members attended the Section One Greenhand Conference on Wednesday, Sept. 16, at Highland Community College in Freeport. More than 150 first-year agriculture students from across the section participated in workshops, completed a lock-box challenge focused on the FFA mission statement, learned about opportunities in FFA and met fellow Greenhands as they began their high school FFA journeys.
