FFA members from area schools take part in the Section 1 Illinois FFA Meet and Greet, an annual kick-off event that brought together more than 180 student members from chapters across the section. Held Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2026, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Pearl City High School, the evening featured outdoor games including cornhole, kickball, Spikeball, and volleyball, giving new and returning members a chance to meet peers from other chapters and build community as the school year began.
