Bonnie Sansom passed away on Monday, August 31, 2026 at the Pleasant View Nursing home in Monroe, WI surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 25, 1940 in Rockford, IL to parents Gerald and Elva Houdeshell.
She loved to have Sunday drives with Bob, spending time with family and friends and spending countless happy hours gardening. She showed her love by cooking and baking for her family and she cherished animals and made pets of them all.
Bonnie is survived by her long-time partner Bob Schrieber; daughters Lorie (Romulo) Brinkmeier and Jennifer (Kykham) Khamphouy; grandchildren Erica (Thom), Matt (Melina), Jessie, Collin, Noah (Allison), Eva (Big Ma) and great grandchildren Alexander, Clara , Zachary, Olivia, Willow.
She is preceded in death by her parents Gerald and Elva Houdeshell; brother Terry Houdeshell; and her beloved albino raccoon, Willard.
Services for Bonnie were already held at the D.L. Newcomer funeral home.
