Brodhead – William “Bill” Charles Alderman, age 76, passed away peacefully at SSM Monroe Hospital on July 2, 2026, with his grandson Cody by his side. William was born in Beloit, WI on April 6, 1950, to Charles and Helen Alderman.
Bill was a lifetime resident of southern Wisconsin. He graduated from Albany High School in 1968. He worked for Alliant Energy for 39 years before he retired in July 2014. Bill was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt, fish and camp.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Pryce-Alderman of Brodhead, his daughters: Lindsey Tennessen of Sun Prairie, Casey (Nicholas) Dachniwskyj of Janesville and Teryn Fishel of Janesville. He is also survived by his siblings, Patrick (Joan) Alderman of Orfordville, Charlane (William) Everhart of Rathdrum, ID and Kari (Bob) Meyer of Rathdrum, ID, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Bill was a dedicated and deeply loving Grandpa. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his grandchildren: Cody, Mia, Leo, Decker, Cole, and Faye.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Helen Elaine Alderman as well as his Grandson, Vance Fishel.
A funeral service will be held at Albany Methodist Church, 500 Park St., Albany, WI on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 12 noon. A visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of service. A graveside service will immediately follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
