Dylan Lee Ross, age 17, unexpectedly passed away on July 8, 2026. He was born on November 24, 2008 to parents Lanny Ross and Traci Klemm in Janesville, WI.
He loved sports, specifically baseball, basketball, bowling, fishing and pool. He loved every sports team from collegiate to pro and would watch them all. He loved playing his guitar and going to the gym to lift.
Dylan loved to be around his friends, girlfriend and family, and everyone loved to be around him.
Dylan touched the hearts of so many and will be greatly missed by all.
He is survived in death by his dad Lanny Ross (Tonya Buttke, Kayla, Clare, Kiara and Colton); mom Traci Klemm (Jason Rufer, Jocelyn, Lavinia and Allena); brother Joey Ross; girlfriend Gretchen Kammerer; grandma Gloria Klemm; uncles Kevin (Cindy) Klemm, Scott (Rose) Klemm and Keith Ross; aunts Dawn Ross and Linette Britt; along with many loving cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandpa Gary Klemm and his paternal grandparents Lanny Ross Sr. and Diane Winchell.
The family will be having a visitation for Dylan on Friday, July 17th, 2026 at the Dl Newcomer Funeral home in Brodhead, WI starting at 3PM to 7PM. A service will then be held the next day, Saturday, July 18th, at the Bethlehem Church in Brodhead, WI starting from 9AM to 11AM with service to immediately follow.
The family will be having a celebration of life at a later date, for all of Dylan’s Friends and Family.
