Rebecca J.A. Mullen
Rebecca J.A. Mullen age 48, of Janesville passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at her home. She was born on August 7, 1977 the daughter of Michael and Deborah (Murray) Jones. She graduated from Brodhead High School in 1995. On October 2, 2004 Rebecca married the love of her life Aaron Mullen in Janesville. Rebecca Jones Mullen was the most phenomenal woman I have ever met. She was also the strongest person I have met. Bec has lived in pain for so many years but she did not let that define her. She used that pain to become a Super mom and rock star wife. She made sure McKenna Mullen never missed a thing growing up. She especially loved going on the Girl Scout outings and camping trips with McKenna and “her girls.” She also loved going up to Mason Lake and seeing our extended family up there. With a heart as big as hers, of course it would give her trouble. She had so much love to share and it is truly humbling on how many people’s hearts she has touched.
She loved her family fiercely and adopted many family members along the way. She loved Caiden Morris as her own and always filled everyone in on his accomplishments along with McKenna’s. If you met Bec you could not help but fall in love with her. The combination of her her quick wit, one of kind sense of humor and just her pure awesomeness. She was addicted to crime shows and podcasts like 90% of the people on here and always made fun of the comment,” She would light up a room” So being one of the many moths drawn to her flame. I will not say that. I will say Bec was the absolute shit. Rebecca is survived by her husband, Aaron of Janesville; daughter, McKenna (Caiden Morris) Mullen of Janesville; father, Michael (Cindy) Jones; siblings, Scott (Jessie) Jones, DeeDee (Chris Downing) Kloepfer, Stan (Chrissy) Burris, and Jerick Jones; sister-in-law, Marci (Michael) Myers; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Deborah.
A Celebration of Rebecca’s Life will be held June 27, 2026 from 2:00 – 6:00 PM at the American Legion Hall; 3913 Wi-213 Orfordville, WI 53576. Everson Funeral Home of Brodhead is assisting the family. BEC, I will forever love and miss you.
