Helen West, age 79, passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison surrounded by her family on May 14th, 2026. She was born on August 1st, 1946 to parents Raymond and Nellie Fey.
Helen loved spending time with her friends and family. She loved Angels, butterflies and relaxing.
Helen is survived in death by her husband Lee West; daughters Dawn (Stacy) Baumgartner, Lisa West; grandkids Amanda (Mike) Ludeman, Blair (Alex) Herzberg; and great grandkids Gwendolyn, Serena, Kade.
Helen is preceded on death by her parents, siblings Author Fey, Robert Fey, Joann Thompson, Donald Fey, Janet Keener, Joyce Strehlow, Carol Campbel; and a daughter Joy West.
In Lieu of Flowers please make all donations out to the West family. These donations will then be donated to a Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Helen’s honor.
Per Helen’s wishes funeral rites will be private.
