(Lombardian, March 10) Beacon Hill in Lombard, a Lifespace Community on March 4 held a birthday celebration for Stella Opal, who turned 107. The Pennsylvania native and former Arlington Heights resident moved to Bea-con Hill with her husband Thad in 2001, according to her daughter, Marcia Opal. They were married for over 75 years until he passed away in 2016. In one photo, she is pictured with Beacon Hill Execu-tive Director Elijah Heyboer, who stopped by to join the celebration.
