(Elmhurst Independent, Feb. 9) Montini Catholic High School’s math team members are enjoying their competition season, which leads up to the Illinois Council of Teachers of Mathematics (ICTM) state competition in April. The team recently competed at the Lemont Invitational (on Jan. 28), and at the Math Teachers Association (MTA) Invitational at Loyola University Chicago’s Lake Shore Campus (on Jan. 31). After claiming third-place honors at the Lemont Invitational, Montini’s math team delivered another third-place performance at the MTA Invitational.
