Duane “Dewey” Robert Tomlin, age 91, passed away peacefully at home on Feb. 7, 2026. He was born on Nov. 14, 1934, in Evansville, Wis., the son of Glenn and Anna Marie (Trebian) Tomlin. Dewey graduated from Evansville High School and went on to work in a print shop and a cheese factory before joining Baker Manufacturing as a furnace operator. He stayed with the company for over thirty years before retiring. In 1964, Dewey and his brothers purchased a small cabin in Drummond, Wis., a place that became very special to him. He enjoyed spending time there hunting and fishing with family and friends. He would often share the memory of shooting a nine-point buck weighing over 200 pounds. Dewey also enjoyed bowling, going for long walks all around town, and watching the Packer games. In November of 1984, he married Rhonda Parmer. Dewey and Rhonda often enjoyed spending time in their backyard, watching the birds and having pit fires. Dewey is survived by his children: Sherry (Courtney) Davis of Arizona; Alan (Jackie) Tomlin of Evansville; Anna (Josh) Filer of Middleton; Becky Parmer of Janesville; Tammy (Dan) Heslop of Illinois; Billie Jo (Bill) Heubel of California; and Niki (Marc) Feggestad of Whitewater; as well as many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Rhonda; his sons, Eugene Tomlin and Mark Parmer; his sisters, Delores Porter and Mary Ellen Riegle; and his brothers, John Tomlin, Edwin Tomlin, and Norman Tomlin.
